Course Requirements

• Applicants are required to be employed by a licensed Master Plumber
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent 

Step 1: In order to become a registered plumbing apprentice with the U.S. Department of Labor, complete this Plumbing Apprenticeship Form with your employer. Then, print the form and email/scan to zach.harber@uaccb.edu 

Step 2: Print the work process schedule and Plumbing Apprenticeship Agreement Appendix A. Complete and email/scan to zach.harber@uaccb.edu 

Step 3: Apprentices must register with Arkansas Department of Health to receive health card. Print this form, complete with your employer and mail check or money order for the $25 license fee to the address listed at the top of the form.

Step 4: After Steps 1-3 are completed, follow the instructions below to apply for a scholarship that covers the full $800 tuition for this course. You MUST register for this class to reserve your seat. 

Financial Aid Scholarship Available For This Course: 

This course is approved for an Arkansas Workforce Challenge (AWC) Scholarship award (up to $800) provided by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE). To be eligible, you must be 18 years of age or older, an Arkansas resident and must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 

APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP: 

To receive 100% tuition free scholarship for this training, you must apply here >> Arkansas Workforce Challenge Scholarship by creating an account. Upon completion of the application, you will be notified via email by ADHE, typically within 7-10 business days, that you have been offered the scholarship. You will need to accept the offer for the award which covers your tuition 100%. If the scholarship is not finalized, you will be billed for the cost of the course and payment is due within 30 days of the final day of class.

REGISTER FOR THE CLASS:

Step 5: Reserve your seat by registering for the class. To defer payment pending receipt of the scholarship funding, click Register and apply the following promo code at check out: 1plumbing24. Select Check Out, then in the upper right corner, select Add promo code and enter the code: 1plumbing24. Click the + (plus) sign to update your cart. By applying this promo code, you are agreeing to comply and fulfill the terms and conditions listed in Step 4.  

What if I fail to apply the promo code?

If you fail to apply the promo code, your credit card will be charged the full course fee of $800.00 and reimbursement will be provided after the course is completed.

Cancellations: To cancel a class, five (5) business days' notice prior to the course starting date is required to withdraw and receive a refund.
