Course Description:

Join us for an informative session on the path to homeownership, presented by Cindy Barton and Garrett Tuggle, Mortgage Loan Originators with First Community Bank. This course is designed to equip students and future homebuyers with a clear understanding of the home buying process, along with practical steps to prepare confidently for purchasing a home.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of credit, the importance of savings, and practical steps to begin planning for a home purchase. Whether you are just starting to think about buying a home or want to better understand how to position yourself financially, this session will provide valuable insights and guidance to help you get started.

The session will be held at UACCB Independence Hall, room 103 on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 6-7 p.m. Snacks and water will be provided.
