In the online Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) with Medical Billing and Coding course, you will learn what is required to succeed in the medical profession by gaining premium skills and credentialing through end-to-end patient care. A CMAA knows how to check in patients, verify insurance, and schedule appointments. The medical billing and coding certification enables you to take those services and translate them into accurate, billable codes.

This combined CMAA and medical billing and coding program curriculum offers valuable training in legal, ethical, and regulatory concepts central to this field, including HIPAA compliance, official coding guidelines, and third-party payer requirements. You will understand front-office administration and all phases of the revenue cycle—from patient registration to reimbursement and collections. In this online phlebotomy technician training program, you will learn about drawing blood from patients, evaluating their ability to withstand the procedure, and helping them feel comfortable. You will understand how to perform basic point-of-care testing, as well as properly preparing blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory testing. This course also covers how to handle and maintain essential medical equipment, including needles, test tubes, and blood vials. 

To support hands-on learning, you will receive a comprehensive phlebotomy kit that features a realistic practice arm, which allows you to simulate blood draws and complete assignments that mirror real-world scenarios. With your enrollment, you will also receive CPR Certification through the Red Cross as well as an opportunity to participate in a clinical experience.

Drive with purpose

UACCB’s Class B CDL training program prepares you to earn the license required to drive a school bus, commercial passenger vehicle, or a single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more.

Students who successfully complete this course will earn a Class B Commercial Driver's License with a School Bus and Passenger Endorsement.

This training is especially valuable for teachers, coaches, and school staff in rural districts who need the flexibility to transport students safely and legally on school buses. But the Class B CDL has wider value as well. It is commonly required for drivers of medium-duty commercial vehicles smaller than 18‑wheelers—such as box trucks used by delivery companies, construction firms, manufacturers, and municipal service providers.

Seats are limited, and enrollment is first-come, first-served. Students must have a valid Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) and a satisfactory DOT Physical or School Bus Physical before they can begin class.

This comprehensive and in-demand online clinical dental assistant program helps equip you for career success—with no previous experience necessary. You will learn essential aspects of professional dental assisting, including invaluable real-world perspectives from experienced dental assistants and essential information about anatomy and physiology, preventive dentistry, patient care and communication, radiology, pharmacology, anesthesia, and much more. You will also explore the basics of maintaining computerized clinical dental records using Dentrix Practice Management software.

In this comprehensive online course, you will gain the skills and knowledge to prepare to work as a dental office manager. Whether you are in an entry-level position or an experienced professional, you will learn essential skills in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online that are valuable in any career. In addition, you will learn all aspects of managing the dental office, including dental terminology and anatomy, bookkeeping, maintaining medical records, accounts receivable and reimbursement, billing, insurance, scheduling patients, and performing procedural and diagnostic coding.

This course also serves as preparation for the certification exam for the QuickBooks Certified User exam. Upon completion, you will be on the road to success in a rewarding career as a Dental Office Manager and beyond.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a voucher to sit for the QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU) Exam. The voucher is prepaid access to sit for the certifying exam upon eligibility. Proctor fees may apply, which are not included.

UACCB offers a self-paced online training course to help you prepare for the CDL Hazmat Endorsement exam. Video instruction is provided by Bryan Anderson, CDL instructor.   

Hazardous materials are products that pose a risk to health, safety, and property during transportation. Hazardous materials include explosives, various types of gas, solids, flammable and combustible liquid, and other materials. Because of the risks involved and the potential consequences these risks impose, all levels of government regulate the handling of hazardous materials. The course includes the information needed to prepare for the Arkansas Hazardous Materials endorsement test.

This is a self-paced online course. Upon registering, UACCB will grant you access to the class. You will have 30 days from the date of access to complete the training. For questions, call 870-612-2082. 

Steps for Your Hazmat CDL Endorsement

• You must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid CDL.
• Register and pay the $99 fee for the Hazmat course. 
• Take your original birth certificate to the Revenue Office and pay the $10 fee.
• UACCB will provide you 30 days of access to Blackboard.
• Complete the Hazmat course within the 30-day access period. 
• Complete fingerprinting and the required federal background check.
• Schedule and pass your written Hazmat test.
