Dental Office Manager
with UACCB Online Training
In this comprehensive online course, you will gain the skills and knowledge to prepare to work as a dental office manager. Whether you are in an entry-level position or an experienced professional, you will learn essential skills in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online that are valuable in any career. In addition, you will learn all aspects of managing the dental office, including dental terminology and anatomy, bookkeeping, maintaining medical records, accounts receivable and reimbursement, billing, insurance, scheduling patients, and performing procedural and diagnostic coding.
This course also serves as preparation for the certification exam for the QuickBooks Certified User exam. Upon completion, you will be on the road to success in a rewarding career as a Dental Office Manager and beyond.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a voucher to sit for the QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU) Exam. The voucher is prepaid access to sit for the certifying exam upon eligibility. Proctor fees may apply, which are not included.
Hazmat CDL Endorsement

UACCB offers a self-paced online training course to help you prepare for the CDL Hazmat Endorsement exam. Video instruction is provided by Bryan Anderson, CDL instructor.
Hazardous materials are products that pose a risk to health, safety, and property during transportation. Hazardous materials include explosives, various types of gas, solids, flammable and combustible liquid, and other materials. Because of the risks involved and the potential consequences these risks impose, all levels of government regulate the handling of hazardous materials. The course includes the information needed to prepare for the Arkansas Hazardous Materials endorsement test.
This is a self-paced online course. Upon registering, UACCB will grant you access to the class. You will have 30 days from the date of access to complete the training. For questions, call 870-612-2082.

After successfully completing the Medical Billing and Coding course requirements, you should be well prepared to find your place in this rewarding healthcare career. According to the AAPC 2023 Salary Survey results, certified medical records specialists earn 15% more than their non-certified colleagues. You will get to choose a voucher for the professional medical billing and coding certification exam that best aligns with your interests and career goals:

The World Health Organization predicts that 3.36 billion people worldwide will be nearsighted by 2030, an increase of 29% over the number of nearsighted people in 2020. In the U.S. alone, myopia (nearsightedness) rates have soared over the past 50 years, from 25% in 1971 to nearly 42% in 2017, according to the National Eye Institute. The condition called presbyopia, or age-related farsightedness, has also increased in case volume as it is most prevalent in our growing aging population.
In this optician course, you can gain the skills and knowledge you need to obtain an entry-level job as an optician within applicable states. The optician certification training program provides a solid foundation for a successful career in opticianry—from essential topics for aspiring opticians, including the anatomy of the eye, refractive errors, contact lens fitting, and relevant laws and regulations. The optician certification program concludes by preparing you to take the Basic American Board of Opticianry (ABO) and National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) exams, which include the NOCE (National Opticianry Competency Exam) and the CLRE (Contact Lens Registry Exam), which is required by many states to work as an optician or as a stepping-stone to career advancement.

During this asynchronous training course, you will learn how to demonstrate your knowledge of the healthcare delivery system. Pharmacy Technician (Voucher Included)

This online pharmacy technician certification course will prepare aspiring pharmacy technicians to effectively assist the pharmacist in the packing and distribution of medication. You will receive didactic and hands-on pharmacy technician training to develop the skills necessary for successful employment in the field.
This pharmacy technician training program will empower you to pursue entry-level pharmacy tech positions by teaching you medical and pharmaceutical terminology, basic anatomy related to the pharmacology of medications, and pharmaceutical calculations. Through this pharmacy technician certification course, you will obtain hands-on practice in retail pharmacy procedures through an online lab module.
You will learn what information is necessary to process prescriptions and physician orders and apply that knowledge to fill mock prescriptions. The curriculum in this pharmacy technician certification course also includes the ethics of pharmacy practice and education about prescription medications, patient care and interaction, and charges and reimbursement.
Upon completion of this pharmacy technician training course, you will be prepared to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). This course includes a voucher which covers the fee for the exam. As a part of completing your pharmacy tech course online, you will also have the option to perform a hands-on, 130-hour Clinical Experience. Clinical Experiences are based on individual state board requirements.
Professional Grant Writing

This grant writing training will also prepare you for the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) exam offered by the Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI), which has minimum requirements of education and grant experience based on the level of education obtained. This course offers enrollment with or without a voucher. The voucher covers the fee to sit for the GPC exam upon eligibility, and includes a one-year professional membership to the Grant Professionals Association (GPA).
